About Osreton

Osreton started as my country in NationState, a browser game where you get to make choices about your fictional country. Since then it has grown into its own beast, however. After joining the DSA, a region in NationStates, I became active in their community and began to build on the lore for Osreton. Now it is a fully fleshed out nation with its own culture, history, language, and...unique wildlife. All my written fictional works are set in Osreton, spread all throughout its time and history.

Stretching along the coast of the continent Iskar on the planet of Debsia, Osreton is known for their decentralized society, preservation of communal life, and deep reverence for nature. Outsiders view it as a venerable utopia where there is peace and nobody goes without what they need, whether it is food, shelter, or community. It is also, however, known for its unusual phenomena that defies easy explanations, from unique wildlife to folklore that is treated as fact. The boundary between the natural world and the unknown is thin here, thought the locals known how to deal with it for the most part.

This section of my website presents Osreton through an in-universe lens, blending documentation, storytelling, and archival fragments. It is a huge undertaking of six years of lore, so it will most likely take a very long time for it to be completed. In the meantime, enjoy what is here.
